Another one of the features of the modern classroom is collaboration and technology that massively assists to empower students. It was a fun way we would get an “inside look” as to what we would be learning during the year. As years have passed and the evolution of modern technology, textbooks, novels, and notebooks have become a thing of the past. With the use of mobile devices in the classroom, whether tablets, Ipads or ebooks, there is no need for students or teachers to have hard copy books. A few of the advantages include saving money, more current, easily accessible and interactive. Definitely makes learning much more fun!

The use of technology for assessments has become a huge lifesaver for so many teachers around the world. It has now become a great way to enhance assessment by not only providing parents with more helpful feedback but it also includes an array of student’s skills and competences. Assessments that are done digitally is an immense time-saver for teachers and allows them to give a more detailed report.

With modern technology in the classroom, lesson planning, activities and projects can be customized to fit each student’s needs and learning style.
